Lindsay was born on the 8th of February 1984 and died on February 18th 2001 when she was killed in an horrific road crash. Her mum Christine, her dad Chris and younger sister Joanne are now a family of three instead of four and have to face life without Lindsay.......FOREVER.

Lindsay, who was 17 and a student, was on her way home in a taxi from her part time job. She was working in a local club in order to save money for her first holiday with her friends. She was sharing the taxi with a friend and they were both sitting in the back seat.

On the same road as the taxi was a car travelling at speeds of up to 90 mph in a 30mph limit, and often on the wrong side of the road. This car was a worthless, unroadworthy wreck, bought the previous day from a scrap yard by two men who didn't even have a licence.

On the day of the crash the same two men went out in the car, they went drinking in a local pub and had each drunk 10 pints when the car they were in smashed into the back of the taxi Lindsay and her friend were travelling in. Lindsay died instantly across her best friend's lap.
